At just 24 years old, Reece “Big Rig” Howden has already made his mark on the world stage, earning multiple World Cup gold medals in Ski Cross. His journey to success began early, winning gold at the 2016 Youth Winter Olympics. During his rookie World Cup season in 2020–21, Reece captured his first overall World Cup title — an incredible feat that included 4 gold and 2 silver medals. His standout performances that year also earned him the title of Rookie of the Year. Born and raised in Chilliwack, Reece proudly represented Canada at the 2022 Beijing Olympic Games, earning an impressive 9th-place finish.
This season, Reece has earned 3 World Cup victories and 7 podium finishes! He recently captured the 2023 Crystal Globe, making him the overall World Cup points leader for the season — his second Crystal Globe, following his first win in 2021. Reece has been absolutely dominating the slopes, and we’re proud to support him in his continued success. We can’t wait to see what’s next for the Big Rig!
